Once you have created your PDF submission and you have all items in the Items Checklist, submit your entry via the Online Entry Form. CLICK HERE.

This award recognises individuals who have actively championed the inclusion and advancement of others with different identities from their own. The judges will look for evidence of exceptional advocacy, mentorship, and leadership in fostering an inclusive culture and empowering individuals from groups traditionally marginalised. Entry is by a five A4 page submission; the judges will be looking for clear information backed up by facts that pay particular attention to the criteria listed below.

  • Overview of Sponsorship Efforts: Provide a description of the nominee’s role and their efforts to support individuals or groups from different identities. Highlight their commitment to promoting inclusion and creating opportunities for others to succeed.
  • Key Achievements: Outline specific actions or initiatives led by the nominee that have had a meaningful impact on the inclusion, growth, or advancement of underrepresented groups. Demonstrate how their efforts have gone above and beyond expectations in championing diversity.
  • Innovation in Advocacy: Highlight any unique or innovative approaches the nominee has taken to support and advocate for others. This could include creative mentorship programs, resource development, or new methods for addressing systemic barriers.
  • Impact on Individuals and the Organisation: Provide measurable examples of how the nominee’s sponsorship efforts have influenced the individuals they support and the broader organisation. This could include stories of success, increased representation, or cultural changes driven by their advocacy.
  • Supporting Testimonials: Include testimonials from those directly impacted by the nominee’s efforts, as well as from organisational leaders or peers who can attest to the nominee’s role in fostering a more inclusive environment.
